Using Itunes can someone walk me thru it or lead me to a step by step loc.
Thanks,
Does the car show the folders of just Windows/Mac? Do any of the tracks play? When you say no MP3 info, do you mean no track information on the screen?
ITunes is a real pain. I use either Nero (commercial version) or MediaMonkey (free). Both are far easier to learn and get working than ITunes, IMHO. You also can use AF5 to easily size the file names and ID3TagIt to get the correct ID3 tags for display. Both of these are also free.
Make sure you are burning nothing to the disc but MP3 files. Do not burn any album thumbnails, etc. Also, make sure your total filename length meets the requirements outlined in your stereo user guide and don't forget to include the filename extension as part of the total length. Also make sure all of your ID3 tags are in place so that they display properly on your NAV display and HUD (if equipped).
I like to use the randomizer a lot when playing MP3 discs but what I found is that the randomizer will only work within a given folder. If you have two songs in a folder, the randomizer will just play those two songs over and over again until you manually move to a different folder. I found it better for me to just have all of my songs in the root folder of a CD with no subfolders underneath. Then the randomizer works as I want it to.
