It's a Corvette not a Caddy.

Based upon your posts on this forum, it seems pretty clear that you're not seriously in the market for a Corvette. It sounds like you'd be much better off finding something else that's more to your liking.

i have had corvettes 1997 1999 and 2000 and the seats where great to me these new seats i think are trash compare to the old seats in my older corvettes i thnk that corvette is on it way down and need to do something to bring more conform to the owner i had 3 nsx and those seats put the corvette to shame.

I think the seats are just fine. They are no means a big plushy Caddilac seat that sucks you in like a old waterbed which I don't care for anyway. These seats have decent support and bolster to keep you from sliding around during spirited driving which is all they need to do in my book.

I don't think the seats are harder over the years, I think your old butt is softer.

If you can afford a Corvette then you can afford some big fluffy pillows to put on the seats.

BTW, did you adjust the seat bolsters and lumbar support or just assume that, like most cars, you had to take whatever seat adjustment the factory gave you?

Apart from better seats in 2020 they are raising the ride height several inches and putting a long hollow box in the back... I'd wait for that if I were you.

I've had my 1LT for a year now and the seats are fine, just as they were when I first sat in it. They were different than what I was used to sitting in, that's all. They aren't the greatest and they aren't the worst either. Are you going to let the seats keep you from getting this car. You didn't really drive it then, did you?

The seats in my 2010 GS feel way more comfortable to me than those in my 1998. I guess the "feel" of comfortable is quite subjective.
