Default HELP!!!!! Question on front ZR1 conversion..

Im doing the ZR1 front coversion and I have a question. The small grille above the emblem on the nose of the car, is that two piece or a one piece grille? I received mine and I dont have the grated piece that matches the bottom grille I just have the outter ring type thing. I checked where I bought it from and they said that is the only way it comes. Well I was driving by the dealer ship today and seen a black
gs so I got out and checked this piece and to me it seems like it is two pieces. If any one has done the conversion and could help me or maybe even have a part number for this peace it would help me out alot. I have never seen a front end without this grated looking piece. Thanks

it's one piece, the grate is built into the frame behind the bumper cover. So it's already on your car under the standard C6 Front bumper cover.

The best I can tell is that it's a one piece thing - part #25 in this pic:

here is a pic of the grate that's built into the bumper support, this is on all C6's regardless of bodystyle. You can see about half of it just under the hood.

I was looking at a Z06 today trying to figure that out. Now I see what the answer is. Good for future knowledge. Thanks!
