All of the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times I've seen for an 05 C6 has the Z51 package with M6 tranny and performance gearing. How does a bone stock A4 car with 2.73 gears compare? Are there any documented numbers? Is the top speed different for the 2.73's vs. the 3.15's?

Mine are 3.15's I would be interested to know too.
I'll just say that everyone says the 2.73s suck. And they probably do, I didn't mind them but my diff broke some I'm upgrading to the 3.42s. I will let you know how big a difference I feel
I wouldn't draw any conclusions from this list. Some of those runs were surely done in widely varying conditions. I'm sure stock LS2's have run tens of thousands of 1/4 mile runs, and this is a list of less than 50 results. It's entirely possible that traction and air conditions will swing the result more than the rear ratio.
An A4 with 2.73 gears is a 'touring' car. I ordered mine that way and we enjoy it a lot. Drag racing is the hardest thing you can do to any car and I don't intend to do that to mine. I will say that second gear is a blast in this thing.
