My 2005 C6 was on an accident.

This are my codes
B0100 Electronic Front End Sensor 1
B0083 Passanger seat Sensor Circuit
B0042 Driver Frontal Deployment Loop Resistance Low
I have read many threads but all your feedback is fully appreciated.
However, did the seat belt pre-tensioners fire?
If so, were they replaced?
If the pre-tensioners activated and haven't been replaced, that could possibly be what the B0083 Passenger seat Sensor Circuit code could be.

B0100 Electronic Front End Sensor 1 (left) Performance - appears to mean that the impact sensor #1 on the left side is either bad, or not hooked up properly. After the SDM (Sensing and Diagnostic Module) is powered up when the ignition is turned on, the sensor sends a signal to the SDM. If the SDM doesn't get a signal within 5 seconds, it sets that code.
The front airbags (the steering wheel for the driver, the right side dash for the passenger) both have 2 stages.
When a larger/longer legged person is sitting in the seat and the seat is rearward, bot stage 1 and stage 2 will deploy when an impact is sensed by the front impact sensors.
If a shorter person is sitting in the seat and the seat is slid to a more forward position, stage 2 is inhibited and only stage 1 will deploy.
B0083 Passenger Seat Position Sensor Signal - Something is wrong with your Seat Position Sensor. It's mounted on the outboard track of each seat, and I think it's a magnetic sensor (it's listed as a "hall effect sensor", what ever that is). Apparently the sensor that detects the seat position for your passenger seat is not sending the proper signal to the SDM.
B0042 Driver Frontal Deployment Loop (Stage 2) Resistance Low - this indicates a problem with the stage 2 circuit in the steering wheel module. Some signal is not making it to the SDM and it's throwing the code that shows that circuit is not working properly.
So.....none of those codes are for the seat belt pre-tensioners - I guess they're okay.
Good luck!!!
Bob
