Just got my car back from the tinter which completes the changes I planned to do on the car this spring. I added Madvettes Vettebin, Llyods mats, RPI acrylic side-marker blackouts and 35% window tint all around.
Any problems with the rear hatch glass on the top where all the dots are? I know of some people sanding it, or putting vinyl there to cover it, or just not tinting that far up. Just curious to know what you did?

Actually, there are lots of bubbles in the rear window right now (having just got it done today), but they said to let it bake in the sun which will remove a lot of it and then to bring it back in a couple of weeks and they would finish it up.
Hopefully they will all be gone in a few weeks - This place came really highly recommended by people on this forum and others, so I have faith that it will turn out good.

I just did mine today as well. Turned out beautiful. 50% FormulaOne Pinnacle. I'll post up in the Mpls tint thread.
The guy that did mine up at the Rice Street location, (Randy I believe it was), has lots of experience with curved back Vette windows, and pulled my car out in the sun and let it bake for 1/2 hour, then re-went over every defroster line with his finger or a towel or his blade to push out all the bubbles. There are NO bubbles in it.
There is however some slight spacing at the defroster lines, maybe less than 1mm (82 defroster lines are larger than the lines used on todays cars according to them).
The defroster lines stil have some slight moisture in them. Once that dries out and a day or so, Im supposed to run my fingers along every line to be sure the adhesive is set against the glass.
Keep an eye on the bubbles and push them out as soon as you can if they are not going away on there own.
Your Vette is looking fantastic I'll have to add!! Beautiful day for this as well.
