Default Katech Splitter installed

I installed the Katech Carbon Splitter, undertray and brake ducts a couple of weekends back. The fit was spot on. Went on very easy

What do you think?

Now someone needs to make one of these for the regular C6 that looks and fits this good. It seems like all the ones for the regular C6 are poorly manufactured with incorrect dimensions.

Looks Great on your Z though!

Looks great on the car. Watch out for those parking space stops.

Looks great and Katech rocks! I agree with previous post, it would not survive backing out my driveway.

Default splitter

I installed the Cianci splitter last week on my base C6. I have not heard it drag on a driveway yet. Normally the stock air dam (front spoiler) of my car would drag on my concrete drive and really bad at the neighborhood Taco Bell driveway. I took off the side pieces (wings) of the OEM air dam. The new splitter has not scraped at all. It sits higher than the OEM that was mounted underneath.

It looks great!

I have one on my car that is dropped .75" and I never scrape anything. It's all about the technique. The air dam is what hits first, not the splitter.

The front splitters that I have seen manufactured for the C6 are usually poorly designed cosmetic replicas of the ZR1 splitter with fitment issues.

Perhaps Katech can be convinced to offer a carbon fiber front splitter for the C6 platform as well?

Thanks for the good comments. The car is lowered around an inch with Pfadt coilovers and I have a nice bump going into my driveway and it has never hit

I know that if Katech could be convinced to make a carbon fiber front splitter for the C6, it would be functional and would fit like it was factory made.

C'mon Katech........
