Default Decided To Join the GS Crowd

Torch Red, manual 6 spd, 3LT, dual mode exhausts, Heritage Package, full body-width spoiler. Chrome wheels on order, but the base wheels are pretty sharp.

LOVE IT!! Coming off an F55 very pleased with the Z51 suspension. Steering seems tighter than my '06, along with smoother shift. Also glad to be back in a coupe.

In a previous post, I heard from all the hash mark haters. Still on the fence, but leaning towards keeping them.

I like the ebony/titanium interior. Like it more after I replaced the titanium console cover with ebony leather from previous C6.

Haven't been this excited about a new Corvette since the first one.

You done good! Couldn't have done better myself. I do understand the excitement. Congratulations. Like you I would be on the fence with the hash marks. Maybe I'm kinda leaning to liking 'em. I say keep them.

Beautiful, congratulations!

I've had my Torch Red GS Coupe for nearly 2 months. I've owned 3 Vettes in 21 years (I tend to keep them for a while) and this one is THE most fun of all. The C6 is an amazing design in any configuration.

Enjoy!

Congrats and welcome to the group of Grand Sport owners here on the forum.
My friend has a TR Coupe like yours with the hash marks and I think they look great on that color.
However I am on the fence with how they would look on my Cyber Gray.

Great car!

I would like to see a GS WITHOUT the GS badge on the fenders. I think it would look better without it but have yet to see someone pull the badge off. Are they 3M taped or drilled?

I am also undecided on the stripes. I could do without them but on some car color combo's they look OK. Sometimes it does have a "rice" look to it but it depends on the colors.

Oops, edit. Misunderstood your question. Not sure how the chrome badges are attached. The stripes are removable.

Thanks!

Sorry.....but BASHING the GS badge in someones "I just got a GS" thread is totally uncalled for, and puts you in the AntiVette category.....I suggest you edit your post

He is not talking about the "Hash Marks", but instead the chrome badge on the fender.....please ignore his rude comments and congrats on the new Grand Sport

Thanks, Corvette_Outlaw. I noticed that and edited my response. And thanks for the defense!

I've been following the GS on this forum since it came out. Aware of the pros and cons, so I didn't take offense.

AV should be rolling in at any moment. After all it's a GS Thread

Welcome to the club Beautiful Car. I can't wait for my Hash Marks to arrive and would never dream of removing the GS Badge. WTH!

You are a good "Grand" Sport .....but never the less, this GS bashing needs to come to an end.

Congrats again on an awesome Grand Sport.....love the hash marks too

Congratulations, your GS is awesome and I really like the contrast the stripes give, I would keep them.

It looks absolutely stunning, big congratulations!!!

Perfect red color, the wing, the stripes, the wheel design and that they're base and that it is a Grand Sport with the Z06 body. Perfect.

Just a beautiful car. I hope you enjoy it.

Thankfully, none of the Z06 snobs have shown up yet, hopefully they are past their ZR1 and GS issues.

Great looking beast, but cancel those chromes. To much Bling for a high performance vehicle.Look at the pics in the mags you don't see chrome on the exotics and American muscle very often. There's got to be a reason for that. They're pushing that vehicle's aggressive nature so why spring for a widebody?.Leave the chrome for the Escalades.JMO.

Fantastic looking GS just as it is. Actually, I was just thinking to myself ---"the non chromed GS wheels look pretty darn good"

Congrats!!
