I am planning to go to the Vettes in the Valley car show in Maggie Valley, NC May 28-29, 2010. I have not been to this one before. If anyone has, what kind of vendors have they had in the past? Anything Vette related or just local craft stuff?
We went last year. Whatever you do don't stay at the "Headquarters hotel". It is a dump. The vendors were mixed, but not as many Vette related ones as you'd see at larger function. The NCM was there I remember that. Maxie Price had 3-4 cars there for sale. Beats me about the pricing. The Blue Ridge parkway drive was fun. This is really a one day event cramed into 2 days.

There are lots of nice driving roads in around MV. The comfort inn is nice and several nice motels over in Waynesville.
You are also not far from the "Tail of the dragon". Foothills parkway and of course the BlueRidge which starts just a little south of MV and continues for as long as you want to go. We drove it to Boone, NC last October.
Theres also a thread in Southeast forum that has more info.
