Climate control display blinking

'08 coupe. While driving to work this morning, the display for the climate control began to flash on and off. Very steady flash.

Unit is still functional. Turned opower off and turned the car off, neither resolved the issue.

I will disconnect the negative battery lead tonight.

Anyone else had this issue? Car is 7xx miles out of warranty.

My 2007 vert would do the same thing. It would resolve itself. I believe it is a connection problem. I just never had the time to take it into the dealer.

Hey,
My 08 did the same thing, it was intermittent.
Like you said. it still works but blinks.

The dealer finally replaced the A/C head unit, no problems since.

The display on my 2005 periodically just went blank - - sometimes it came back on by itself, other times responded positively to a sharp 'thwack' of my fist.

I began thinking sooner or alter I would probably crack the display, so took it in to the dealer- they replaced it under my extended warranty - - hasn't been a problem since.
