Default LED Tail Lights

I haven't seen very many people talking about upgrading their tail lights to an LED set. For those familiar with it, is there any one brand that seems to stand out?

Try using the Search function. This topic has been thoroughly dissected with many helpful DIY posts.

There are two basic approaches. Replace the the lights with $$ LED versions (many different models to choose from) or install LED 'bulbs' in the OEM housings.

There is an ever-increasing number of these LED upgrades becoming available for the C6 as well as other cars.

FYI: I love my LED tail lights! Eagle Eyes purchased from a reliable ebay vendor. BTW, my entire interior lights have been changed to LED as well (JWM, a forum vendor). Additionally, I have custom foot well and center console LEDs on their own on/off switch to illuminate the dark cabin. Here are pics of my tails.

Those are awsome. I saw a C6 on the road with them the other day and they looked fantastic. That will be my next mod...

I've had the Eagle Eye ones for about 5 months now. Very happy with them. Combined with LED reverse, tag, and side marker lights, it really make a distinctive look.

Which I didn't notice till after I bought them. They were a steal and I have never seen another pair. The housing is made for a C6 which is the weird thing. Either way they look great and no one else has them.

Another vote here for Eagle Eyes.

You can check out this thread for more info (and lots of pics) on the Eagle Eyes.
