Default Radiator sticker trashed

I dunno what happened, I must have wiped it down with something and it's a blurred mess. Anyone have a source for a replacement or part number?

The label in question is called the AC refrigerant caution label and it is GM part # 10323111 on a 2005. It is available from any GM parts counter and it should run you between $16.00 and $20.00

Mine is the same, 2006, and I thought the same thing. But I've seen a few C6's with the same problem.

I've replaced mine once and bought a second.
It's the heat. It just kinda melted away...

I thought that the hood blanket abraided mine. I removed it and am not about to spend $20 to replace it.

Sounds like it may happen again.
I thought to spray a protective clear coat over it though.

Why replace it? I took mine off years ago, but I did save it in a plastic baggy.

Took mine off a few days ago and cleaned it up. Now looks better than ever. Don't need no stinkin' stickers telling me what refrigerant I need to use anyway

Easy way to spot a car with front end damage: No stickers under hood/on radiator cover, etc.

Just something to think about.

Some of these stickers are about $40. Create a new one on the pc and laminate it.

I peeled it off and the melting looks like it was underneath.
So putting on another will likely just happen again.
Cleaned it up and will leave it off for now.

Same thing happened to me. I cleaned it up and put a Jake sticker there instead.

That isn't any more true than saying an easy way to tell front end damage is because all the stickers are new and shiney....

That is a good idea about trying PC though...

Replace my faded sticker with this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CORVE...Q5fAccessories
Fits very nicely and looks like it should be there.

Has anyone tried using a blow dryer to heat the glue up and remove the sticker?

Same here on a 13,750 mile 07 Z06. Wonder why GM couldn't have designed a better decal for that enviroment?

Oh well that's the GM we all know and love. I'm replacing mine with the GM data plate.

I was able remove my sticker today off my 2006 by heating it with a blow dryer and peeling it off slowly. It came of pretty easily. There was quite a bit of glue residue left over which I removed by wiping off using an old t-shirt and DW40. Looks great. If someone does this the engine needs to be cold and I'd suggest using a glove for the hand your wiping the glue with. Mine slipped off the edge of the t-sirt and I got burned by the hot glue. Left a nice blister.

Also, I'm sure there may be something better to use than DW40 but I don't know what. Anyone have any suggestions?

I did notice that there are some ridges/rises/lines where two sides of the sticker used to be. I guess it gave GM a good line on where to place the stickers. This took me 10 minutes and was one of the most simple mods for better appearance that I've done.

Hi,

I have a 07 Vert and my sticker needs to be replaced also. Does anyone have the GM part number for it?

Thanks, Jerry
