I'm seriously looking at a new 2010 at a dealership with:
6 speed
3 LT
Forged chrome aluminum wheels
Crossed flags on headrest
Transparent top (no hard top)
Torch red with ebony interior
Buy a used low mile car the depreciation value is insane let someone else take the hit just look at the for sale section and see how much they paid for the car the miles they put on it and what it's worth 2 years later .
Just look at the prices listed from MacMulkin Chevy on this forum, should give you a good idea. There's a few active threads posted today regarding that.

The car you're looking at appears to be at a dealership in West Jefferson, NC. Its VIN ends with 5107834. The window sticker shows to be $56,985.00. The "preferred" (old "Supplier") price is $52,407.04 if you qualify. There is also a lower price for actual GM employees. There are some dealers who sell at the employee price to anyone. I *think* the discount for a Corvette is something like $2,000 (maybe a little more???) so you're looking at somewhere around $50,000 or a little more. I think there is also a rebate of around $1,000 right now or low financing.
2011s are out so the 2010 is already a year old. That is worth at least a $5k drop.
I prefer to buy new cars also because I know the history of the vehicle and I usually keep them for at least 4 years. Even with my Envoy Denali I only lost about $4k per year for 4 years.
