Potential problem with the OS2 Bose harness
I recently installed a Kenwood DNX9960 in my 06 Vette with Onstar and Bose. I hooked it all up right and lost sound after about 15 mins. After numerous attempts and troubleshooting, I learned that there is a known potential problem with the amp turn on wire buring out on the OS2 Bose. The work around is to hook the amp turn on wire from the aftermarket harness to the blue wire that goes into the factory harness. This will however make you lose your Onstar because it bypasses the Onstar module. The other solution to this potential problem is to add a relay. Hope this helps people
