I would get the NADA and KBB values for this car, then split the difference. Anything lower than that is a decent deal. NADA values seem to be on the high side. So, if you can get it much lower than KBB I'd say you have a good deal. Good luck.
2007 C6 Vette Vert Torch Red 3LT Victory Red (red leather as well) Chrome Wheels Auto---Excellent Condition
14,000 miles
$39,000
Good deal?
Never mind - just saw the one you are looking into is a vert.
For comparison, a forum vendor has a 2010 GS coupe for $47,561 with an additional $1500 off if you qualify (must own a certain brand of vehicle and/or be a credit union member).
$39k is a great deal - for the person selling it to you. $33k would be a fair deal for both buyer and seller.
It doesn't matter where they started at and how far they've discounted. It's about ending up at a price the car is worth.
Don't forget, you are basically asking Corvette owners for their opinion of the value of their OWN car, so you will get some people with the opinion that the car is worth $39K.
If you pose the same question to a forum of nothing but potential Corvette buyers, the figures will be much lower than what you see here.
I think it's a little high, but then again, from a dealer, it's fair. A private sale should be a few grand lower, but I think a lot of folks on this forum are somewhat unrealistic on what anyone should pay for a vette. It's a vert, so it will yield 4-5K more than a coupe, so it's a fair price from a dealership.
WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too high. Good price to start with for a low mile 2007 coupe is 30k. If you want to pay 2-3k for vert, fine, if you want to par 2k for 3LT, fine, but that still leaves you at 35k max.
Once you get into the upper 30's you need to be talking about an LS3 for sure. A brand new base coupe can probably be had with the minimum options for 42k
