I did a little looking around and wanted to get everyone's fresh ideas and information. I realize that PAL was available some time ago, but what is the best solution to incorporate Bluetooth connectivity to the factory Nav head-unit. My vehicle is a C6 2008.
CoStar has a blue tooth module (BlueStar) that takes the place of OnStar and uses the OnStar buttons on the mirror and built in mic and audio system. They have had some minor problems with it not powering down properly (similar to the problems the new PAL units have had) and are working on a firmware fix. I've been doing some testing for them and data captures and they are currently in the process or making some changes to the firmware to fix the power down bug. I expect to have something back from them to test in a week or so.
Other than the power down issue, the module works flawlessly, and I can even use the voice dialing feature of my phone. I just hit the phone button on the mirror and tell it who to call.
I was looking for something that would have the capabilities to stream music by BlueTooth. I was impressed how good the quality of music through Bluetooth is through another head unit i have in my other car. Any feedback?
From what I recall reading on this unit on other forums it works well. Con is that it deletes Onstar as it utilizes the Onstar hardware. I was looking at this as an option for our 08 Denali.

They are showing Vette compatibility only 2005-07 so does it work for 2008? What is the install like? Where does it go, how hard, etc.
I spoke with the Bluefusion peeps and they said they have not tested the 07-10 vettes yet. They have had requests and may be researching this in the future.
