I currently have 2009 C6 2LT, No Nav; Is it possible to add the OEM Navigation System to my car? IF so does anyone know the approx. cost for the system and installation?
Yes it can be done and its a very simple install. You can buy the OEM nav unit with nav disc anywhere from $400ish to $700 range some include the antenna, If not you can buy the antenna new from parts taxi for about $50 bucks.
All you gotta do is remove the center console, then remove the radio. Mount the antenna inside the dash near the air vents, connect all the cables, then re-install the console. You will then need to go to the dealership and have them activate the radio because it will be locked. My dealership charged me $39.95 to do it and will only take the tech 5 minutes so DO NOT let them overcharge you for this. I have heard of guys on the forums say they charged them $120 to do this. Thats rediculous as it literally takes a couple minutes.
I just added OEM nav to my 06 Z06 the other day and it works great and looks great to.

I highly recommend going with an after market unit. Wait a minute, I mean, I STRONGLY recommend going with an after market unit.
