Water Spots - help please.

My MR C6 was in a parking lot while the wife and I had dinner . They turned on a sprinkler and the wind sprayed it with water. Spots everywhere

Thanks in advance

Happened to me last year on a black coupe. Washing didn't help, claybarring didn't help either. Must have been pretty hard water.

I finally had to polish it out with an orbital polisher.

Do some searhing... clay definately will not help. Some have used a vinegar/water mixture with success.

There are other methods too, just don't remember them off the top of my head... the search tool is your friend though.

First of all, don't worry. You can fix this. I had worse happen to my wife's jsb convertible when we went to Carmel, Ca last year. Acid rain actually etched the clear coat. I used my porter cable random orbital buffer and a 3m product called Finessit II. Buffed it with that and it helped. Waited a month or two and did it again and it all disappeared. You won't burn through the clear with a PC buffer. I used the pads from Adams, but others will work just as good. At least, yours is probably on the surface. Mine was etched into the clear.
