Stranded in OC MD
According to Mike, the BAP relay must have shorted internally... So he removed the BAP completly, by re attaching the stock Fuel Pump wiring - effectively taking the BAP out of the picture.
This allows the pump to function as it did stock. HOWEVER... this was only a means to get DealRipper back on the road... it is not a long term fix, and if you ever need to do this in a pinch, you should not under any means put the car into boost... without the BAP, the car will likely run lean under a boosted situation.
Btw, you would be reattaching the grey wire that is spiced during the BAP install...
Just kidding we have 2 Mikes at the shop although Mike the sales person would not be of much help. Mike the tech is very good and glad he could help. I guess there is something about the old saying being in the right place at the right time. Glad you were able to get home.
