GMS/Preferred pricing authorization Help?
Hi Guys,
As many as you know or don't know, I purchased a Camaro for my now almost driving Straight A Student awhile back. Well he's going to be taking it over soon so I thought perhaps if I could make a great deal on my 05 and trade up to a 2010GS I would probably do that.
Anyway awhile ago one of you Amazing Corvette Forum members helped me get my son's Camaro and well, I was wondering if anyone might step up and help me again with an Authorization on the Grand Sport?
Not sure if this is permitted these days but I thought I would ask.
Please PM me if that might be possible again. My Dealer will honor it.

When I bought mine last month, the dealer gave me the prefered pricing without me having any authorization. He could not give me the employee rebate, because only the employee gets that, and the rules appear very strict from what I read on the GM site.
I was able to confirm the prefered price (not the supplier price), and also find out what the employee "rebate" would have been on the car I bought. It would have been nice to save that money ($2500), but not worth risking someone's job.
Some of the supporting dealers may show you the prefered price, the available rebates, and anything else they can do to improve on the price.

Just a little confused. Yea so the deal I made is ok but as you say the dealer said, "Well If you get a "GMS Authorization" I can save you 2500.00 So I'm thinking perhaps he must be talking about employee pricing?As I said last July one of the forum members stepped up and helped me get the Camaro. We exchanged emails and some data and that was it.
Was pretty simple. Was just hoping I could catch another break like that again.

Yup I have the Auth. Number for the Credit Union Discount. Was just hoping to get the 2500.00 Discount if I could find a forum Member that was willing to do it for me. 
Thats the great thing about the forum, someone alway seems to be able to help with just about anything.
I'm trading my 05 Silver F55, Nav. Crazy because it has less the 4K miles on it.
I really like the GS and thought it was crazy not to get the money they are offering on my Trade. Just trying to make the best deal I can.

I too would be interested in this "discount" if someone would be willing to give to me, I'm expecting delivery of a GS next week amd my dealer has said to me he would give me any discount that I can possibly get
