Default 2011 Custom Orders

Anyone know when dealers will start taking orders for 2011 GS's?

Thanks in advance.

My dealer took all my info on what I wanted. He could not explain anything about the new options like battery management yet nor does he have prices. I think 2011 corvettes will start being built around June 14th or so..

You can order 2011 corvettes now. Even if your dealer does not have an allication as long as your order is entered as a SOLD unit it WILL get picked up for production. My order was placed the first week and my dealer did not have an allication however since it was a sold order it was picked up for porduction. TPW is 6/14.

Good luck

You can place an order now but, I don't believe the 2011 pricing is out yet.

Thanks...me to. It's always fun placing an order for a new corvette prior to the pricing being released.

So how do you order the car without pricing? Doesn't that compromise your ability to get the best deal available?

Absolutely correct. I've mentioned this several times in previous posts. I not only want to know what I'm gonna pay up front, but I want the opportunity to price compare. I'll wait for the pricing info, first.

No it does not compromise your ablility to get the best beal at all. I know what I am willing to pay. Invoice, below invoice ect. They have already given me my trade in amount and what price below invoice I will pay so I'm fine with that. This happens every year with some folks. No problem at all. Some people just make more out of it than need be.

BTW, on my trade in they gave me several thousand more than another dealer would. Just do your home work.

All, thanks for the responses. I think I'm with some of you and feel more comfortable waiting until pricing info is released. Anyone have any clue when that will happen?
