I just installed a Attack Blue filter. Very nice product but I did not get the 6 screws to replace the stock screws. The issue is that only 2 of the 6 stock screws are able to make contact with the base. I had to Mickey Mouse 2 screws to make a tight bond. My question is whether I should have got new screws? Anybody know? Thanks!

The filter uses the stock torx screws. If only 2 screws are making contact, its because the filter is not seated properly and or all the way down. Push it down (hard) into the box. Place the front brace on. Screw down in a cross pattern (like lugs on a tire).
That will do it

I had considered that but I typically do not force things into place without knowing the results.
Now I do!
No problem. You will find she will seal up real nice too when you do that...
Enjoy
Thanks again. You are correct. It fits nicely. Only hard part was getting all the screws to set correct. The lug nut suggestion was very helpful. I noticed the pattern on the "lid" of the assembly. What is the real function of this plastic pattern? Does it break up the air flow?
I ask because it is very delicate and I broke one small arm duing the assembly. Do you think that is a problem?
