Grand sport wixom built engine
I just purchased a 2010 Grand Sport, JSB , Heritage Package, 3 LT, NPP, Nav and 6 speed. (Awsome car by the way ) .These engines on the 6 speed cars are built at the Wixom Performance Build Center along with the Z06 and ZR1 engines. I have removed the passenger side fuel rail cover but cannot locate the Wixom tag with the engine builders name. Do they put the tag on the Grand Sport engines built at the Wixom center like they do on the Z06 and ZR1 engines or maybe am I looking in the wrong place

It's on the front surface of the intake manifold, right side. I'll try to find a pic.

Thanks for the info Rick. With the pictures I found the plate right away. James Knipp built the engine. I think he builds the fastest engines at the plant. I'll let you know when I get a few hundred more miles on the odometer.
