need help finding fuel door cable

OK i checked if the key opens the deck lid on my 07 convert. it does and the door release cable opens the door. however there is supposed to be a fuel door cable somewhere near there to open the fuel door. i have looked all over the trunk area on the drivers side but cannot find the pull tab for it. does anyone know exactly where i need to look? pics would be great.

The fuel door release is in the trunk above the left interior light.

finally found it. it was behind the carpet and to the rear of the door pull cable. had to pull the carpet away to get to it. cable works; so all is good. thanks all

Being far from home with an empty tank and not being able to get more gas in it....what a nightmare!
