problem with trunk lid latch switch...

Default problem with trunk lid latch switch...
a few days ago I noticed my trunk lid latch switch was not working... the fob and dash switch works, but not the button switch above the license plate...

I checked the FAQ and pulled it and cleaned it... get a good reading across the pins in the switch, but jumping the contacts in the socket does not release the trunk latch...

any thoughts???

What are you waiting for, get it to the dealer since it is UNDER warranty?

I have the same problem with my '07 that's not under warranty. Please keep us up to date as to what the solution turns out to be.

its my DD, so hate to give it up for a day,...
but yeah... kinda stumped, so I guess thats where its going...
