squeeky roof
i have removed my transparent roof a few times this season off my 2009 c6 coupe and each time i replace the panel the squeeks or tweeks continue , without getting to messy is there a white grease out on the market to stop this thank you !!!!!!!!!!!

Why yes,yes there is!!I bought mine from the Honda dealer up the street and it works well.I put a little in the hole in front where the pins sit.Quieted the roof right away,and mine is not the transparent one!I forget what the grease I bought is called though.

My 2009 transparent roof also suffers from the occasional creaking and popping. I've used a spray can my Chevy dealer gave me of a silicon based Chevy Lube and this works however needs to be reapplied from time to time to continue to lubricate the pin areas. I've also tried the 3/8" shrink tube method where you take a short section of shrink tubing and place it over the four pins and shrink it over them and then replace the top on your roof. This also was affective however it has begun making the occasional creek and pop when the car runs over bumps in the road. I plan to remove the roof again today and apply the Chevy lube to the pins again to reduce the roofs attempts to talk to the rest of the car.

My 2007 had a squeak at the front but only on hot days. I asked the dealer to look at it twice but the first time it was not hot enough that day to find the problem. The 2nd time it was a hot day and they still didn't find it. I wondered why and then I found that it wasn't squeaking at all anymore. Don't know why the problem went away - that was over a year ago. I don't take the panel off normally so I'm not doing anything unless it comes back.
