Got my new GS vert. Now lets change it around. The mild to wild set ups out there, the button on the sift ****, the wireless. Does anyone have a preference? Does anyone know if the "universal home link" will control the wireless type? Padded console cover, I like the one by DSvettes but it looks like the added thickness may restrict opening all the way. My stock one hits the e brake now. Anyone with one have a problem with them? Does DS also do door arm rests and does anyone have any experience with them? Thanks for the help

I dont think it wil restrict from opening all the way. We can add half the thickness of what we normally do if you want to. If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with our product, we will gladly issue a full refund.

I have the DS Vettes padded center console lid and it opens just fine. I can't say with absolute certainty that it opens 100% as far as the stock version but if there's a difference, it's not a significant one. (I'm out of town as I type this so I'm unable to check.) What I can tell you with absolute certainty is that the padded console lid from DS Vettes is a great mod. Not only does it look fantastic, it feels a ton better as an armrest than the factory version. Get it. With Gerardo's guarantee you can't go wrong.

Congrats on the new Corvette! Several opinions will be offered on the most convenient Mild 2 Wild, but I'm happy with the dual remotes. Allows me to show off outside the car. Really no opinion. Just get it.

I haven't purchased from DS Vettes, but will be, soon. Have friends who have and the work is superb.

Don't worry about how far the console cover opens. You don't want to put anything in there anyway. Maybe marshmellows for S'mores... Or for slow cooking road kill... DO NOT put your cell phone or MP3 player in there. And nothing metal that you may need before the whole car cools down. Burned fingers!

Anyway, congrats, and have fun with the mods.

yea gum is a bad idea also in the console. I have the two remotes that are blue but I got mine before the button on the shifter came out might have gone that way if I had the option then. either way you will be happy with it. as for homelink my understanding is they changed it so it won't work for the Mild to wild.

I velcro my remote to drivers door map pocket inside on the side towards the seat, with the button facing towards the outside. as you are driving just reach in and hit the button it's always there. will take picture tomorrow and post.

Spend $1k with DS vettes for interior upgrades and you'll never look at your car and go "ugh, it looks so cheap..."

Mild 2 Wild (the original) is the best $100 you can spend on the car.
