Default Need help with dash wiring

While taking the dash and intrument cluster out to find a tach wire I somehow unplugged the wire harness for the buttons controlling the information center. The end appears to contect somewhere inside the dash. I cannot see any place where it plugs in. Does it plug into another harness or into a control box somewhere?

Help please

Surprized no one has answered you. It gets plugged into the back of the cluster. Looking at the gauge cluster form the drivers seat its to the right of the other 2 plugs.

Did you completely remove the plastic surround?

Not sure how you managed to unplug the wire harness for the info center pod/buttons. To reconnect, it should be an obvious plug-in. So maybe you're looking at a different connector. Or?

Pics would help identify the connector... post 'em if you got 'em.

Step-by-step pics & tips for removing the plastic surround and gauge cluster at: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...many-pics.html

Hope that helps.

I believe he's talking about the whole instrument cluster and not the plastic surround. It sounds like he took it out looking for a wire. That button assembly plugs right into the back of the instrument cluster.
