TVS 2300 blowers for a LS-2? Or gotta get an LS-3?

I understand that Edelbrock is close to releasing one for the LS2, and you don't have to buy a new hood.

Yep

Sure do, my LS2 has a 2300 done by Lingenfelter. Many others available as well. It is just the Edelbrock version that is not available yet.
