Pull the boot down from the base of the handle. Once down it will expose a Phillips head screw. The screw is in the inside close to the center console Remove the screw and grasp the e brake handle while sitting in the seat. Pull the handle straight out towards the dash. In doing so it will pull the handle and the button off. Considerable force may be required. Once the handle and button are off just push the top of the button down and it will fall out the bottom of the handle. Reverse the steps to reinstall.

appreciate it, I've removed and put back on. Di-noc on the ebrake is a pain in the butt
