Supersonic Blue
Has anyone seen the new SSB in person? I know a couple of Forum members saw it at the Bash but not many opinions on it. I've ordered a 2011 GS in SSB but really want to see one in person. Thanks for any feedback and opinions (positive or negative).

I saw it at the bash and loved it. I'd call it a "slate" blue.
In low light (cloudy) it looks dark, but in bright light it really pops and the metal flake really pops.

I saw several Supersonic Blue 2011s at the museum bash and fell in love with it. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best color ever offered on the C6. If I was in the financial position to do so, I'd buy a Supersonic Blue Grand Sport or Z06 in a heartbeat. You are going to love it! BTW, which interior did you order? SSB + ebony 4LT + optional blue interior stitching is SUPERB.

zo6 in white w/zo7 option, ebony 3lz & chrome spider wheels appears to be the perfect c6. BTW: 1st photo - tread pattern does not look like "supercars." are they the 2nd gen gys?

Thanks. I based my choice on those Bash photos. I'm in Michigan and the one rear end photo shows a MI plate. Wonder how it had a plate on it at the Bash.
MY order is GS SSB 3lt with Ebony interior with crossed flags . Chrome wheels based on the photo. F55 and NPP.

Trust me, Tom, your car will be beautiful. The reason the cars has a Michigan plate is because most if not all of the 2011s that were there were driven to Bowling Green by GM people specifically for the event. Among the drivers were Tadge Juechter, Harlan Charles, and Kirk Benion. Even though he's retired, I wouldn't be surprised if Tom Wallace was also among the drivers.

It's a nice color that is changeable depending upon lighting conditions. It is also hard to capture the color in a photograph. Here are a few more from the NCM in April.

As noted, it is a captured test fleet car. Built at the assembly plant and road tested using manufacturers plates which are registered in Michigan.

Having not seen this color in person, and judging only from the pics, i have to say i am really excited about it. It reminds me of back in 2004 when i was looking at a C5, they had a MSG car back in the service department and i wasn't sure about the color. But when they pulled it out into the sunlight i was absolutely blown away. I ended up buying that car!!
Cyber Gray was a no-brainer replacement for my beloved C5. I still think Cyber Gray is the absolute best color available right now, with JSB second. However, i have a feeling when i see SSB in person i might put it ahead of JSB. Can't wait to find out for sure!

OP: when you get your car, you'll have to post up pics!!! Mine will also be a GS, and I am contemplating utilizing the services of Callaway to make it supremely ridiculous.

IN fact, I believe there are a couple SSB 2011s on their way to Old Lyme next week, or the week after
