DSV Rocks!
DSV is not one of those places. I stopped by there shop and was given a tour of the grounds. I thought I would see assembly lines with parts and merchandise stacked to the ceilings, workers clambering about packing boxes; what I saw was 4 people. That’s right four. There was Gerry, Leno, the Secretary and an installer. Gerry is as nice a business man as you will ever meet, and he takes an enormous amount of pride in every piece he produces. Leno has an eye for detail that could rival those at Ferrari. The installer was meticulous and when he wasn’t installing he was working on the famed D-sport steering wheel. Now, it’s important to point out that when I say working on the D-Sport I mean the guy was “hand sanding and shaping every wheel!
” No belt sander, no pre assembled parts from China, just a guy ensuring that the Corvette community gets the steering wheel that GM should have given us anyway. Once the install was complete Leno looked it over to make sure the fit and finish was up to his standard. Gerry examined the finished product and suggested some small things to tie it all together. The install process started at about 1045 (should have been 1000, but I was late) and finished a little after 5pm (they would have finished sooner but there was 3 hours of rain). I was blown away by the finished product and couldn’t wait to get underway back home, about 5 hours away, and show the club my new interior. I drove about 25 miles when my radio went out. 5 hour ride with no radio
? No way! I called DSV (keep in mind it’s after 6pm) just to ask if maybe they forgot to plug something up during the instillation process, Leno called the installer and Gerry to ask, but while he was waiting on an answer he told me to come back and he would take a look. When I got back the installer and Leno set to it, they pulled out all the work and explored every possible option to help me out. Gerry showed up and immediately went to Forum to research possible solutions. As it turns out the problem was a faulty IPOD cable that had finally given out. The short went through the aftermarket harness and wouldn’t allow the factory radio to power up. By the time these guys finished helping me with a problem that had nothing to do with them it was past 2AM! The bottom line is this, along with my appreciation for these guys I just want you all to know that you will not find a more dedicated group. The quality of their work speaks for itself. The quality of their service cannot be measured in currency.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I met Lino and Gerry at the Strictly Corvettes Show in Atlantic City last year. They are both great guys who take the time to listen to you and your needs and wishes, and supply an outstanding product.
I have a few DSVettes pieces and it truly gives the interior not only a new look, but a new feel.
Their customer service is outstanding. I had a few very small issues which Lino was quick to resolve over the phone in attempt to make a completely satisfied customer.

Well I am completely satisfied and looking forward to ordering more pieces. They are simply one of the best vendors on this forum. Highly recommended.
I did have one question, however. If you do not live near Texas, how do you go about getting that customized look, if it is not previously available as a stock item. Also, what if you do not have the technical expertise to install these items yourself? I can install a shift boot & **** and I am pretty sure I can install a Ebrake boot and lever. However, things like a steering wheel and doors are beyond my level of experience. I live in Marietta, Georgia. Who in the Atlanta area does this kind of install work?
