Tim Lynch's new ZR1 ran 4.49 at 177 mph and 4.52 at 171 mph during taping of the new NRHA Unleased show a couple of weeks ago. He sold his world-record-setting Mustang and purchased the Vette.
The ZR1 is highly modified of course but still an amazing time.

think that is impressive, try 3.96 seconds @ 190 mph. 1/8 mile. set by ron stringer in a 1967 vette in pro mod saturday night at ohio valley raceway in louisville kentucky. he was #1 qualifer and got a 1000.00 check
