I have been struggling with this question also since I am close to replacement time again. We have stock 18x8.5 and 19x10 wheels. The 305/30x19 recommends wheels of 10.5 - 11.5, and the 265/35x18 recommends wheels of 9 - 10.5. So I am concerned of putting these on stock size wheels.
Here is some interesting info from TireRack. I currently have the Firestones and their tread width is almost the same in stock sizes as these wider size tires. FWIW

Those are what Im getting here in the next week or so as they are on back order thru discount tire and they are 2 miles from me as much as I would like to use Tire Rack... But its a Great tire for the price!! and 305 will give you the " sexy " look in the rear! ill update this once I get mine installed!!
