Auxiliary jack?

Auxiliary jack?
Can I use my nav equipped vette to play music out of my android smartphone? I guess what I am asking is if there is a plug-in of some type that would allow for music to stream from my phone through the car's speaker system?

Yes they make a connector but it is for Apple Ipod, Iphone, or Itouch. I have not saw one with a standard 3.5mm(headphone jack) that works with the nav unit. Try the Audio section they might be able to help you out more.

this will allow for a 3.5mm input or iphone/itouch.

When Don told me where he was getting it put in I really had no idea you guys were in Wisconsin. That is cool that you are so close, when I get ready to put an Ipod connector in my 08 I will give you guys a call. I had Peripheral (i think that is the brand) piece of junk that ran through my XM and it was making a whining noise even when the radio was off
so I just took it out.

The module you had might have been bad. I have sent out plenty of the pxamg units from PAC/Peripheal(same company now) and no issues
I can confirm with PAC Audio but 99.9 percent sure this will be fine.
I am doing a C6 Pioneer Z120 install tomorrow for a customer who actually lives in Ohio. His wifes sister happens to live 8 miles from the shop so she is dropping the car off for me to install everything for her while she visits her sis.
