Can you get a 2LT Grand Sport w/the HUD? I LOVE! the HUD as it's a gizmo, and I love gizmos. However, I have no use for the other stuff in the 3LT over the 2LT.
per the manufacturers literature, would appear the answer is no. not shown as an option.
I just looked at both the 2010 GS ordering guide and the 2011 GS ordering guide. The only way to get it from GM when ordering a GS is to get the 3LT (or 4LT, which also requires 3LT) option package.

Meh. MEH.
$3,000 for a HUD.
IMHO, the HUD is the one thing the 'vette REALLY has that is cool compared to the Cobra and Viper and Cayman S and whatnot. It's just neat.
I wonder when incentives will be applied to the 2011 cars? Anyone know when it became popular to lop 3K off of the 2010's?
I would get it without and order the hud from a vendor here on the fourm and either put it in yourself or pay someone to put it in either way it should be way cheaper than getting the hud from GM with the car I put one in mine and love it.
Will buy with the HUD, or forgo it. I don't plan on splicing wires, etc. Wanting re-sale value. 3LT gets that. I was just hoping to add the HUD to a 2LT, but since it can't be done, I will either pass, or get the 3LT.
Installed my own from Parts Taxi (Great service by the way!!!). Took some time, and patience but after having the HUD in my Z's, I missed it in my GS. Its great and is the same exact unit.

The splices do not require cutting wires. The taps are squeezed onto the existing wire. Takes about 10 seconds per "splice".
