I'm having a strange issue which is starting to bug me. On my 2005 I swapped out all my interior lights with JW's Led kit ( Mirror, footwell, trunk ). All of a sudden when I exit the vehicle and lock the car all interior light dim and turn off except the mirror light when are on about half way lit. I tried turning the dash **** and pushing IN the mirror buttons. The light dim like they are suppose to normally except both mirror light when stay dimly lit. After a while I assume when the battery save function kicks in they turn off completely. It was a royal pain in the rear to swap those lights from the mirror so hopefully my issue is an easy fix. I also noticed today that while driving they also stay dimly lit. Anyone have this issue with swapping the mirror light with these LEDs? :o

I've never heard of them on when driving, but the map lights on when off does happen on some C6s. The leds drain your battery or anything like that. That faint glow barely uses any power.

I'm confused by your post do they drain down the battery or not? Don't get me wrong the light output are fantastic I love them but my main concern is just that my battery draining. The LED's dim just like they are suppose to when you lock the car but they don't shut off completely. The 05 c6's are notorious for battery issues trust me I know.....
No issue in my son's 05 C6! We switched all the bulbs out with LED's...no issues!

I wonder if I may have a short somewhere that is causing this issue then. The LED's have been one of the best mods I have done and the light from the LED's is awesome however something is not right here.

No, the leds will not drain the battery at all.
If you aren't happy with the leds we can work out a refund for you. Just contact me direct.
Mine does the same and so do a lot of others. You should'nt have any issues with battery drainage. I've had my LEDs for over a year and it starts up everytime. Sometimes even after sitting for a week or so. (No battery tender in the Spring-Fall)

No I am happy I just had that one concern other than that I could not be happier with the LED's. As a matter of fact I want to get the backup light and or the hood light if they are available. As long as my battery does not drain then I'm good however I do appreciate your response and excellent customer service that shows me exactly what kind of company you have......

My LEDS glow very dimly...absolutely no issues with battery drain...if you do a search, you'll find a thread which explains why...and a remedy...
if you don't want to have the lights on (stay on) just replace one of the footwell bulbs with a "super white" 194 bulb. it looks very close to an LED "white". i did the passenger side under dash bulb. the leds draw so little "juice" that they don't have enough resistance to trip the "timer" all the way off. the standard bulb is the one that the computer recognizes and turns off the power. in any case you shouldn't have a problem with the LED's - they use very little power.
