Automactic Window Problem....Help

My drivers door window is not dropping down the few inches when I go to open the door. I have to lower the window when I opem the door....What it wrong!!!

Try re-indexing your windows.....disconnect negative cable for 5 min and re connect.....go ahead and leave window down when ya do this so you wont have to close door with it all the way up and you'll also have better access w.power disconnected. I would leave hatch up as well. Get in car and turn ignition to either run or accessory and then roll BOTH windows down. (roll up the drivers window before you start) Then, roll BOTH windows up. Then pull BOTH switches up, release and pull BOTH up again. Your windows are now re-indexed.
Good luck....it's also in your owners manual.

Yes, re-initializing should fix your window indexing. It's easy.

This might have become necessary if your battery is weak/dying/dead, or disconnected & reconnected. Have any of these happened?

4+ years is a good lifetime for the OEM C6 battery. So if your 06 has the original battery, you might need to replace it VERY soon. Same for the battery in each FOB.

Think of it as preventative maintainence.
