No, when you get the Nav option, you lose the 6-disc capability. Will not play DVD movies.

It will play MP3's but......the formatting of those MP3 discs is critical. Here are reference threads for that. Keep an eye on posts by FortMorganAl, he's kind of the resident MP3 expert here:
