Default Undocumented DIC Features?

I was watching my Corvette Owners DVD that came with my '08 C6 and, while they were going through the DIC explanation, the DIC was shown displaying "Maximum Speed 158 MPH". I have never seen that on my DIC so it must be a feature that's available but undocumented. Does anyone know how to recall the max speed the car has been to? Are there other undocumented data that can be recalled by knowing the secret handshake and button pushes? This is the DVD that comes with the C6, copyright 2007, "Interior Features, Part 1"

That's a warning from one of the systems on the car, not the maximum speed that your car has been. There are different maximum speeds advised for different error conditions. Here's one that's documented in the 2008 owner's manual on page 3-61. There are others, but you'll just have to look at the manual.

MAXIMUM SPEED 80 MPH (129 km/h)
This message displays when a malfunction is present in
the Selective Ride Control system. The vehicle speed
will be limited to a value determined by the vehicle when
the shock absorber system has failed and the shocks
are in their full soft mode. Have your vehicle serviced by
your dealer/retailer as soon as possible.

If you want to be able to determine the vehicle maximum speed from a previous ignition cycle there is a device available that will allow you to do that. It is called the Window Valet. I have one installed on my '08. It will tell you the maximum speed and rpm your corvette achieved in a previous ignition cycle. (It also remotely raises and lowers the windows, vents the windows, activates the horn to beep if someone grasps the door handles while the car is locked and unattended, etc. It's a pretty neat addition to the car. You control it through the car's FOB and the DIC push buttons. It's a little electronic device that just plugs into the OBD II port under the steering wheel (can't even see it once its pluged in) - takes about 10 seconds to install. I got mine from Southern Car Parts here on the forum. Use it every time I use the car -love it.

There were some problems posted about the Window Valet, including battery drain; but they were some time ago and i didn't follow the threads to see if the WV was actually the cause.
