Default Another DSVette steering wheel thread...

Finally got mine installed. Thanks to DSVettes for their outstanding work. I'm trying to decide if it is too "fancy" for my tastes or not, but that is not a reflection on the quality, it is exactly what I ordered. Much better than stock.

I know the touch-screen and passenger side dash is dirty, drove the boy to school this morning, and he's not the neatest in the world...

luv it! if that had been available in Feb. when I got mine, I would've ordered it for sure. of course, I could always pull a "tracey" and just order another one. I'm sure DSV wouldn't mind.

I've always wondered why the preforated piece on steering wheels?

Thinking this is the wheel I go with at this point. What color stitching is that? Hard to tell with the sunlight. If you dont mind can you PM me total price as well.

I love it. That is what I want, but just with some blue to match my car. They do great work.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

For those of you that asked me to PM a price, It is probably best if you reach out to DSVettes directly. I purchased mine during their introductory sale at the prices listed in this thread:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-corvette-general-discussion/2602703-new-dsv-premium-steering-wheel-sale-24-hour-sale.html

I don't know what the standard price is or when they might have another sale.

The stitching is Titanium to match the GM bits.

love it. I have the same year car, same interior. That's the wheel I'd like to get. I'd have to wait for another sale. Funny, I pm'd DS about 2 weeks ago to order some things and haven't heard back. I assume they are busy right now with carlisle stuff maybe. I've done the armrest, door pulls, door rests. I also had DS do the carbon fiber on the steering wheel caps. The boot and ebrake stuff is next once I hear from them, while I save up for one of those wheels. Your pics make me just keep dreaming.

Your wheel looks fantastic - excellent as expected from DSV. I especially like the cross-stitching. One thing you've likely noticed by now but that can't be told from the pictures is how good the wheel feels in your hands, eh?

To okbkvette: Your best bet is probably to just phone DSV and speak with Gerardo or Lino directly. They're both outstanding guys and they'll bend over backwards to provide you with what you want at a fair price. Give it a shot - you won't be disappointed.

Question Are those factory carbon wheel covers?
Thanks

Looks great

Once you get used to driving with it you will never want a regular steering wheel again.

I have one in each of my Vettes. When I ordered my GS I called Lino and ordered a steering wheel about 2 weeks before delivery so I could put it on asap.
