Dead Battery
Well, the battery lasted like 4 years and I knew it was time to replace it but I didn't and I was dead in the garage this morning. Got it flat bedded to the dealer, had a new "Professional" Delco battery installed, an oil change and had the service active handeling recall taken care of.
One issue, the TPMS now shows my right rear tire pressure as "0". I checked it with a gauge and it is fine. I've already replaced two of these Mattel pieces, any ideas if the system will reset or will I be replacing a third unit? tks in advanceeddie
Yea, Bob will know for sure. Have you driven the car very far since the battery replacement? It might be that everything just has to wake up and re-sync. Don't know, just thinking. We'll see what Bob says.

Still on original 2005 battery here at 36,000+ miles no battery tender and driven once or twice a week.
Shouldn't TPM's reset after driving?

NOPE, the other three were fine after the battery install. They just reprogrammed the one. I should have replaced that battery as a preventive measure anyway, daahhhhh--e
Sensors shouldn't need reprogrammed after a power loss. Since I only drive my car on weekends the battery is disconnected during the week. When the battery is reconnected the DIC will display all pressures as 0 until I drive and the sensors are triggered.
