To the OP: No Z06 auto. A Callaway might be a good choice for you. Grand Sport with Callaway option is avaialble in removable roof coupe or convertible, auto or manual. Price and performance similar to Z06 and full factory warranty.
Wish it did, GM is missing the boat not offering it. I have an ankle issue and so a clutch kills me in traffic. For that reason I couldn't get a Z06.
I would def get one if it came with an Auto option.
Would have saved me a lot of money on my whole wide body project

I will be the first one in line when they offer a Z06 in automatic and I will camp out overnight before the dealer opens if they offer a Z06 convertible in automatic.

All very true - except in recent testing by a major magazine, not only did our virtually match the acceleration of the last (2010) ZR1 they tested, it turned the same handling numbers on their skidpad (when equipped with our suspension/tire pkg) at 1.06 g.

Are you talking about the Sep.2010 Road & Track. (page 90).
Your SC 606 Grand Sport was quick
with a 0-60 time of 3.8 sec. and quarter mile at 11.8. Page 112 of the same R & D issue shows a stock Z06 did 3.4 and 11.7 respectively so your just a tick behind the Z06 not a ZR1.

No, not that magazine - but same car. For some reason, it ran (significantly) faster with another driver...
