Tire question
Looking to replace my GY F1s run flats with non run flats. Goodyear has the GT with a V rating. I heard that was a good tire. Any suggestions. I have been tru the site but did not find much on "NON" run flats. 2007 convertable.

no. v rating is not sufficient. don't "under-tire" your car to save a few bucks. what works on another lighter, smaller, less capable car (speed or handling or both) may not be adequate for your car and will compromise you and the car when you need it most.
if you're not familiar with it, go to tirerack.com. plug in your car, model, year, etc. and see what tires come up. there'll be brands of tires, both non- and runflat.
good luck.

I replaced the tires on both of my C6 Corvettes with Michelin PS2. The difference is amazing. The improved ride and reduced noise are enough, but they do everything much better than the OEM Goodyears. They also last twice as long.
