My son just got a 5.0 several weeks ago and the new 6 speed trans didn't want to go into 5th gear without forcing it and hearing it grind. It has been sitting at the dealer for the past 2 weeks plus waiting for a new transmission. New motor and new transmission may have some issues kind of like the crank pully on my 05 C6.

Its really not even fair to compare the coyote to the LS2/LS3. LS2/3 engines are great but at this point they are not technological feats. While the coyote is the result of Fords most recent R+D. The engineering benchmark for performace engines is hp per liter.
It will get very interesting when GM comes out with its next gen V8s for the Vette.
