So as you all know my car is the devil and is having what everyone believes to be a grounding issue but when all grounding wires, battery terminals, and alternator were looked at, it all checked out just fine. I finally gave in and took her to a dealership to get checked out. But! Before i did i took her by Autozone and had them hook up a tuner and try to troubleshoot the problem. My car came back with a code showing U0001 - High Speed CAN Communication Bus ECM. Im terribly lost and have no idea what this is. Im hoping this is whats causing my car to not crank 50% of the time. Has anyone ever had experience with this code or have an idea of what it means? This upsets *****...
Circuit Description
Modules connected to the GMLAN serial data circuits monitor for serial data communications on the GMLAN network during normal vehicle operation. Operating information and commands are exchanged among the modules. Each module on GMLAN network maintains a transmit error counter (TEC) and a receive error counter (REC). The counter values increase with detected errors and will decrease with error-free messages. If the TEC value exceeds 255 the controller removes itself from the network and a DTC U0001 will be set.
