Got a "Private Offer Certificate" from GM for an extra $1500 off many GM products including the Corvette. This is over an above the $3000 rebate offered on 2010s. Anyone else get one of these? Got one last year about this time but for only $750.

I'm not sure it is over and above the allowable rebate. I would think not. I shredded mine so I can't read it now.
Mine was for $1500 and it applied to 2010 or 2011, but it expired 9/7/10. It was above the advertised rebate, and it sure did tempt me. Does yours have a latter expiration date?
We had gotten a $1500 bonus from our GM Card in early July which was on top of any other offer ... we used it on the ZR1 along with the $3000rebate, $1000 from our GM Card Points plus $1000 for a Toyota Aquisition.

Mine expires 11/1/10, tempted to finally pull the trigger on a 11MY Z06.
Where's mine? I tried to get the $750 last year no luck. Dealer could not do any thing so I called GM they told it was random mailing and if you did't get one your out of luck.

Guess I'm outa luck. Could use a $15,000 coupon for a Volt . . . .
I got one for $1500. I have a C6, but I tossed it. Now that I'm close to buying a new CTS Coupe, I wonder if I could have snuck it into the Caddie dealership and applied it to the CTS.
mine was for $500-$1500 additional discount beyond my gm card dollars, depending upon the vehicle
i lied! Just found the mailer and it is for $500 to $3000 depending on the vehicle. Offer good 9/8/10 thru 11/1/10.
Corvettes are limited to $1000 + my gm card reward balance. The $3000 applies only to escalade's & $1500 applies only to cadillac cts, dts, sts, & srx.
I just used approx $3500 towards my corvette in january, so i'm not really in the market for another.
My offer is linked to my GM card's rewards. So YES in my case.
I have only accumulated $500 in rewards since my January Corvette purchase. 5% of what you charge becomes your total reward, with a $500 per year maximum. Newer cards have limits on how much you can use per purchase, older cards still abide by original terms that allow you to use your full reward total on a purchase. Adding $1000 or more to your reward is a good discount. In my case, I negotiated my best price and then announce that I will use the rewards. No problems for two purchases. Last year, I did have an out-of-state dealer tell me that he couldn't accept the rewards towards a Corvette without boosting the price. I called the GM card customer service and they intervened, to get him to comply. I didn't go through with the deal for other reasons related to dealer constantly changing his terms and price.
