Default Error code b0041
The red light on the dash indicating an airbag system problem has been on from time to time in my 09 vert. Finally we were able to get the error code, B0041 which I believe is "drivers side loop".

Anyone seen this before?

Just trying to help my dealer get to the root cause. Wiring problems can be a big pain in the butt as you know.

The connectors under the seats seem to be the most common problem.

There are many things that can cause the light. Mine took several years for the dealer to find. It was the seat belt tensioner.

Just a few days ago actually. I took it in to the dealer and they "re-crimped" a connection and cleared the code. All seems to be back to normal now.

I had the airbag light come on periodically while driving. Took a few times at the dealer complaining about it until it was finally fixed under warranty. They replaced a airbag sensor and that did the trick for me.
