Was looking my car over today and noticed a foot long key mark through the paint, I can see the primer or fiberglass, whichever it is. Is this too deep to fix myself? I tried rubbing compound and wax but no luck. How much to fix this do you think or any suggestions? I just love Hoosiers!! I would like to break whoever did this face!!
Another low-life scum bag, jealous of our cars and just can't restrain themselves from trashing our rides. Sorry for the loss. Body shop is about the only thing you can do although don't forget about your comprehensive insurance coverage for this.

Sorry, I know you pain, same thing happened to me last year, mine was 3 ft long rear qtr and drivers door. I bought kits and tried to fix it myself, but no luck.
I got 2 estimates, $550 and $350.
The dealer was the $350 and I used them to fix it.
They did a great job, looks new.

I truly feel your pain. My first car was a Butternut Yellow 67 Camaro. One cold January night, it was keyed down the entire length of the driver side and across the trunk lid for just an extra measure of fun parked on the street in front of my parent's house.
I seriously doubt you can satisfactorily fix this yourself. Please take it to a good body/paint shop. Good Luck.
Yet another story about a vette being vandalized. Kinda scary.
OP, sorry about the damage. Based on your description, I believe a body shop is your best bet.
If you are in the Indy area take it to the Tin Ranch in Westfield on the north side.
Fantastic body shop who understands your baby - they do a tremendous amount of hot-rod end exotic work.
It's atomic orange, thanks for the sympathy.....this really sucks!
I just had my bumper replaced on my 2008 AO due to a road gator hitting it. It too them 3 tries to match the paint. The body shop said it is one of the hardest colors to match. There was a lot of different "blends" for atomic orange. My friends 2007 AO stated on the sales sticker that it was blend 3, mine didn't state anything. What part of the car is it? It pisses me off when people do this or anythign that damages someone's property. Too bad someone didn't catch the people in the act. Of course in a lot of states the police can't do a thing to them anyway because it is on private property. I don't know if you can sue the restaurant.

At least they were able to match it.
Today's paints are light years better than they were 20 years ago. Formulas and techniques yield much better results.
Depending on where the scratch is, the body shop may or may not have to blend into the adjacent panel. Just find out what shop in your area does the best work and take it there. Generally, you will see the shop full of high end cars such as Mercedes, Lexus, etc.
I feel your pain. My wife's car was keyed down the entire drivers side and across the truck several years ago. I was 99% sure who did it and dreamed of ways to get back at her, yes a girl, for weeks. Never did follow through. Anyway, just take it to a reputable body shop. That's why we have insurance. We ended up with a whole new paint job because of the extent of the damage.
