At least 2 schools of thought on the subject. Those that think Aspis look better and those who know the GM versions look better. J/K.

There are many threads. Do a search, look at all the pics and choose what you like best.

Ideally, NOT having flaps would be best. Realistically, depending on where you live, having them is almost a must.

GM versions are more subtle but not as wide. Apsis are expensive and wider but do provide better protection.

Plus they are called "Fender Guards" on cars like ours, not mud flaps. That is for semi trucks.

I have these http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette...-305-6776.html

What I like is not having to drill any holes to install and they're small enough not to be very noticeable.

I would call those stone guards, and they look good, I am going to put a set on mine as the sand left over from the winter up here is brutal to the paint on vehicles.....If you have to install mudflaps, make sure they have a Playboy Bunny outline or a Yosemite Sam saying "Back Off" ....Running boards could also be an option lol

Those would go good with an air horn on the fender.

GM - yes they are smaller but they don't need to be bigger. Just do the black as they come. Hardly noticeable.

I have the GM splash guards. Not quite as large as the Apsis. Both are nice, just depends upon which look you are going for.

The ones from GM fit like a glove and look like they should have been there from the factory. No debate here..

Contact one of the Vendors that sells GM products and ask for the splash guards. Comes in a set of 4 for about $90.

I appreciate all the pics and good pointers. I have looked at a bunch of pictures and I like the GM factory guards. Does anyone have a line on the best price and vender on the forum?

Thanks,

DJ
